I want to start out by saying, this race is 100% for all fitness levels. During my wave about 80-90% of participants were walking. Yes you heard right, walking!
In the beginning my friend and I decided to not run but jog it out, we were jokingly told by another participate that we don’t have to be over achievers, it’s not that kind of of run. lol
Even with my hip was bothering me that day we still jogged it out when we could between obstacles.
We went last year when it was called the R.O.C. race. People were actually doing more running/jogging that year than this. But they still had the same obstacles. My favorite I’d have to say is the water slide at the end. I just want to end this post saying the Wipeout Run New York 2015 was awesome and would most definitely do it again and recommend for beginners or those simply wanting to do a fun race.
