Try this DIY Homemade Almond Milk Recipe.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup raw almonds, soaked overnight in cool water (or 1-2 hours in very hot water)
- 4 cups filtered water (less to thicken, more to thin)
- Sweetener of your choice. (Only optional)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Rinse soaked almonds. Add your almonds, water, salt and vanilla in blender. Blend until creamy and smooth. Keep it running for at least 2-3 minutes or until well blended.
- Strain using cheese cloth. A nut milk bag works too. Then squeeze until all of the liquid is extracted.
- Transfer your milk to a jar and refrigerate. Be sure to over with lid. Keep for up to 3 days. Shake well before drinking.
- Explore with other flavors. My favorite it chocolate!
